Cooked Bacon

We work with a BRC accredited Dutch manufacturer as suppliers and importers of cooked, streaky bacon (pork belly) to the ready meal and sandwich industries.

Cooked bacon is a highly convenient, ready-to-use product that can be supplied chilled or frozen.  It has a shelf life of 9 months on production when frozen and 2 months when chilled.  Please note that all the raw material supplied is sourced and farmed in line with EU welfare legislation.

Our products are available in full rashers or half (mini) rashers as follows:

35%, 43%, 50% and 55% cooking yield

Half Rashers

35%, 43%, 50% and 55% cooking yield

A lower cooking yield refers to a product that passes on the cooking conveyor belt for a longer period of time and is, therefore, crispier than a product with a higher cooking yield.  Due to the fact that the bacon has been cooked for longer, the meat to fat ratio of a product with a 35% cooking yield is higher than that of a product with 55% cooking yield.  It is for this reason that products with a lower cooking yield are more highly priced.
