HFI Ltd is delighted to be the UK sales agents for one of the largest hen meat and broiler breeder processors in Europe. Based in Bremervörde, Germany, Geti Wilba have been processing hen meat for over fifty years and they continue to supply industrial caterers, branded and private label manufacturers throughout Europe.
Hen meat products are ideal for pies, soups and ready meals. Whilst the meat is darker than chicken in colour the taste is widely regarded as more flavoursome than white chicken meat. Furthermore, all hen meat products (raw and cooked) are 100% natural with no added water. Geti Wilba are also able to supply free range and organic hen meat. Ancillary products include hen fines, hen stock and hen fat.

Raw Hen/Broiler Breeder Meat
Geti Wilba can provide raw breast, thigh, leg and drumstick meat, as well as natural proportion meat; either boneless, skin on or skinless. Product can be whole, diced or strips depending on customer requirements. Raw hen and broiler breeder meat can also be supplied in block frozen packaging. Individually quick frozen (IQF) format is available for diced and strip meat.Fresh-Chilled, Cooked Hen/Broiler Breeder Meat
Product can be either breast, thigh, leg and/or drumstick meat, or a natural proportion mixture of breast and thigh meat. Depending on customer requirements the meat can be whole, diced or strips as well as boneless and skinless. Shelf-life is upto 6 weeks when the meat is pasteurised vacuum packed in 2.5kg or 5kg bags.Frozen, Cooked Hen/Broiler Breeder Meat
Product can either be IQF or block frozen. IQF hen meat is normally packed in 5kg or 10kg bags and can be whole, diced or strips. Block frozen meat is supplied in 15kg blocks. Frozen hen meat is available as breast, thigh, leg and drumstick, or a natural proportion mix.
